Emotional power and romanticism. Alexander McQueen’s work, from his collections to stunning runway shows, are a reflection of his passion, radical creativity and energy in fashion. The way he blends elements, from jeanswear to shirts to outerwear and to evening wear, produce a unique aura that only his own style can express.

Alexander McQueen’s autumn winter 2008 collections are rich in style and class. The collection looks on womenswear feature a variety of appeal. One look is a white bow shirt, dark denim frock coat and black denim biker trousers. Another look is a skeletal-like celtic knot print layout on a high collar knit jacquard military dress in extra fine merino wool in knee length with side button black ankle boots.

The Alexander McQueen menswear, on the other hand, has more designer denim features. One look is a high collar zipped grey felt bomber jacket with wool rib detailing, an 11oz regular 5 pocket designer denim skinny jeans fit and black oxford side lace up leather brogues. Another is a moss green wool chevron overcoat 2 button closure with peak lapels, olive v-neck fine cashmere knit, teal/ olive contrast plaid cotton shirt collar, dark bone flat front slim fit skinny trousers in stretch Japanese Enshuku cotton tab closure trouser, check wool travel duffel in tan leather trim/ bottom, paisley peacock fringe silk scarf and side zip canyon color leather ankle boots.

Born in London, Alexander McQueen started in Saville Row; thus, he gained the foundation for bespoke British tailoring. Later on he developed his identity through French Haute Couture styling and appreciation towards sophisticated Italian manufacturing. Today, partnered with the Gucci Group, Alexander McQueen’s fashion house continues to amaze the world.
