By the time the anti-fashion “anything goes” 1990s decade came in, the company, including its trademarks Fiorucci, Fioruccino, Fiorucci Safety Jeans, Fiorucci Time and the “angels” figurative mark, were purchased by famous Japanese cult denim, Edwin International. The roaring mash up decade of the 2000s brought expansion to Fiorucci through perfumes, home collections and product collaborations. With a new era initiated in 2011, the collaboration with Ittierre S.p.A and Naomi Campbell recharged the womenswear line. This year, the eyewear collection also takes flight.

The French word Façonner (pronounced “fassonee”) means to create, to mold, fashion, form or give a shape to. This is the same word that a variation was used to name an international high end men’s and women’s tailored clothing French company.

Founded by Jean Goldberg in 1950 and later on headed by his son Albert Goldberg, Façonnable (pronounced “fuss-saw-nab”) is headquartered in Nice, France. In 1988 through the 1990s, Nordstrom partnered up with the company to provide exclusive distribution in the United States via Nordstrom retail stores. The first women’s line was launched in 1995. The word “Fallow” is one of the oldest color names in English. It is a pale brown color, much like Ravi brown in South Africa, that is the color of sandy soil. Fallow is also considered a farmland that has been tilled but left unplanted for one or more seasons. It can also mean crop rotation.
