Robin Chretien is the founder and designer of Robin’s Jean. Born in Lyon, France, Robin’s creativity and passion comes from his roots, particularly his parents. He ventured overseas and landed in Los Angeles, California in 1996. His talents brought him recognition among denim brands such as Blue Cult and Hudson Jeans. His warrior spirit and a fondness for motorcycles, antique cars and vintage cinema brought forth a dream to launch his own brand. In 2005, He established Robin’s Jean with the signature gold wings which symbolized his childhood dreams of freedom and flight. Robin’s Jean products are sold in approximately 800 specialty stores with major retail partners nationwide and in the international market.

The story of the imogene + willie brand started way back as a seed of friendship between founders and now husband & wife, Matt and Carrie Eddmenson, when they first met as schoolyard buddies in Kentucky in the United States. Later on, they became coworkers at Carrie’s family business in denim manufacturing. When the company closed down, they still continued in their passion for denim and they set up shop by Granny White Pike in Nashville, Tennessee. In 2009, the old gas service station became their production facility, retail store and think tank for the brand. imogene + willie takes pride in using selvage fabrics or raw dry denim threads made exclusively for them by the vintage shuttle looms of North Carolina, alternatively revered as Cone Denim.

The name imogene + willie is an ode and a token of deep appreciation to Willie & Imogene, Leo & Sally, Anthony & Hazel and James H. & Gladys, who are their paternal and maternal grandparents. The brand, work culture and company signifies Matt and Carrie’s rich loving relationships with all of their grandparents. It represents the life lessons they have picked up and continue to learn from them, together with abundant memories and experiences they forever cherish.

imogene + willie is about the quality of work, heritage, love and most of all, family.

The man behind the Ben Sherman brand was the late Arthur Benjamin Sugarman, who was born in Brighton, England in 1925. While applying citizenship in America, he changed his name to Ben Sherman. As he was already making shirts for other people, only in 1963 that he became ready to launch his own shirt label.

The first Ben Sherman shirt followed a classic American Ivy League top with his signature back hook, which is a button on the back of the collar. He used Oxford fabrics in pale shades of pink, yellow and blue plus candy stripes patterns. The shirts eventually became a huge success. Ben Sherman targeted various British youth markets in different eras such as the post war teddy boys, Italian style modernists or mods in the 60s, rock & roll hipsters from the 70s, retro ska culture from the 80s and the cool Britannia and Brit pop movements of the 90s.

Owned by Oxford Industries since 2004, the label has become a global lifestyle brand. Not only does the company produce shirts but also entered into different apparel lines such as suits, denim jeans, shoes and accessories. Their signature designs also include the Royal Air Force roundel or mod target and Carnaby fit styles. Ben Sherman currently sells in over 40 countries worldwide.

Nikeys are perhaps one of the most famous athletic shoe brands in history and in the world. The highly recognized trademarks of “Just do it” and the Swoosh logo became a symbol of athletics, fitness and sports. The name Nike was actually derived from the Greek goddess of victory.

On the other hand, Nike Skateboarding is Nike‘s dedication to skateboarding’s artistic form, culture and skill. In 2001, Nike Skateboarding adopted the slogan, “Respect the past, embrace the future.” With a growing community of pros and upcoming amateurs, the brand continues to inspire and support skateboarders for years to come.

Graft surgery refers to a medical procedure moving tissue or skin from one host to another part of the body or to another person without using its own blood supply. Eventually, a new blood supply grows in after it is transferred. The transplanted tissue is called a skin graft. Skin grafting is often used to treat trauma, extensive wounds, burns and skin loss due to infection.

The eclectic transplantation of leather fabrics into a collection of fanciful couture garments is what the Los Angeles-based brand, Skingraft Designs, is known for. Vaudeville circus performers and costume design enthusiasts, Jonny Cota and Cassidy Haley founded Skingraft in 2005. Designer Katie Kay joined them in 2007. The brand’s style span from post-apocalyptic designs, Blade-Runner-Aeon-Flux-esque edginess, Victorian elements, outlaw cowboy Western appeal and romantic high end streetwear aesthetics.

Well known personalities, such as Adam Lambert, Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance, Beyonce, Juliette Lewis, Amanda Palmer, Fergie and Black Eyed Peas, Margaret Cho and Kat Von D have been spotted to wear Skingraft.

On denim, they currently offer:

Mens Stretch Denim Pant in Black: Four pocket denim pant with angular seaming on legs and removal back flap.

Mens Leather Combo Pants in Black: Stretch denim fitted pants with leather details and pleats.

Mens Fitted Pants in Black: Black stretch denim with pleated details around the knee and top portion

A black orchid is a mythical unicorn of the orchid flower world. There has been no orchid found to be truly black in color. Instead, the flower is a darker shade of blue which looks black to the naked eye. Black orchids are popular in stories involving witchcraft, fiction, spooky legends, myths and pop culture comic characters. They are believed to be mysterious and magical.

Just as the flower, Black Orchid denim also symbolizes rarity and beauty found in something simple yet affordable form. Founder, Julien Jarmoune, took his passion and talent to design clothes which uniquely flatter a woman’s figure. Many celebrities, including Jessica Alba, Fergie, Gwen Stefani, Demi Moore, Katherine Heigl, Dakota Fanning, AnnaLynne McCord, Hilary Duff, Nikki Reed, Paris Hilton, Marcia Cross and Emmy Rossum, have been spotted wearing these Black Orchid denim jeans out on the city streets.
