Brazilian fashion house Colcci is among many brands (Sommer, Carmelitas, Triton, Forum and more) carried by the AMC Group of the Menegotti family. Colccii represents youth fashion with an edge. Currently, the brand has expanded to 1,650 multi label stores and 31 countries including Malta, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Spain and U.S.A. The Colcci store in the U.S.A. is in Newwark, New Jersey.

Since 2005, supermodel Gisele Bundchen has been the face of style and fashion for the brand. Colcci jeans have displayed fashion forward designs with zips and patches and sophisticated washes like gray with a vintage distressed flair. Denim jeans’ cuts and fits ride with the dynamic trends of fashionistas today. Aside from jeanswear, denim variations include shorts, skirts, jackets and vests.

An experimental universe. Alexandre Herchcovitch's jeanswear and fashion collections are vessels that transmit his creativity to the world.

An experimental universe. Brazilian fashion designer Alexandre Herchcovitch never runs out of fresh and experimental ideas every season. In the early 1990s, he became famous for designing the alternative lifestyles of the prostitutes and transvestites. Plus, his fondness for massive layering and multiple creases and folds with various complementary contrasts and the infamous skulls and bones drawings put him on the map.

In 1998, he started his own line of Alexandre Herchcovitch jeanswear with international exports to London and New York. Now, his jeans brand and clothing lines have expanded to Germany, China, England, Canada, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. With strong roots of Brazilian tradition, he merges his designs with rich cultures from other nations around the world.

The Alexandre Herchcovitch Autumn-Winter 2008-2009 Collections are again a smash hit not only for the luxury princesses but also the edgy art crowd. Womenswear starts with tailored variations of the infamous little black dress. Features include high shoulders, v neck, balloon cuts, shoulder capelet or capuche or guimpe which looks like a nun’s habit piece, above the knee skirt with side pockets, draped sleeves and layered inseams. Next is the dominant use of the yellow brown tartan, yellow and aqua stripes, angular patterns and cute, silk fabrics and the ultra bright orange hues.

On the other hand, the Alexandre Herchcovitch menswear collections have that fierce attitude. One look comes from the western era with leather ponchos, high boots, cowboy hats, tartan trousers and patterned shirts. Another look comes with metallic skinny denim jeans, small checkered vest, skull patterned slim pants and shiny caramel color leather sweatshirts with hood. Then there is the dark side look with all black outfit in skinny pants, high boots, black cowboy hat, knit ponchos, tuxedo style vests and 3 button suits. Some stylish anomalies include hot pink vest and trousers, skull patterned slim pants, ultra black shiny fabrics, transparent veil, mesh shirt and 2 buckle belts.

As Alexandre Herchcovitch pointed out, “I am much more concerned with establishing a dialog between my universe and that of my clients.” His collections are vessels that transmit his creativity to the world.
