Desigual is the Spanish translation for something that is unequal, different, distinct or unlevelled.

Founded in 1984 by Swiss native, Thomas Meyer, Desigual is known for its signature patchwork designs, rich colorful print patterns, dynamic graffiti art designs and vibrant color explosion. From Isabel Coixet’s idea, they chose the name “Desigual” and accompanied it by the slogan of “It’s not the same”.

Based in Barcelona, Spain, the casual clothing brand has been led by Manel Adell since 2002. The key factor for their success is the concept of Fun&Profit. Today, Desigual employs a crew of 2,800 people of more than 72 nationalities. The company prides itself with 7,000 multibrand stores, 200 Desigual brand stores, 1,700 corners & shop-in-shops all over the world and a global ecommerce website.
