Canadian musical sensation Avril Lavigne has sold over 30 million copies of her albums worldwide. The pop punk princess debuted the album, Let Go, in 2002 and continued on with several releases named Under My Skin and The Best Damn Thing. Her famous singles such as Complicated, Sk8er Boi, I’m With You, My Happy Ending and Girlfriend hit number one in the charts worldwide.

Avril Lavigne recently ventured into the fashion design business. She launched the Abbey Dawn clothing line as a juniors lifestyle brand. Its namesake originated from her nickname back in childhood. Her father would call her Abbey Dawn and her friends would often call her Abbey.

Abbey Dawn is available exclusively at Kohl’s in the U.S.A. Just this August 2009, the Boathouse stores in Canada started to sell the Abbey Dawn apparel. To complement her fashion line, she also designs watches and jewelry, which includes necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Her favorite colors are pink, purple and black. Her first fragrance called Black Star launches this summer 2009.
