The wolverine, made famous by a Marvel comic book character from The X-Men, is actually the largest land dwelling breed from the weasel family. The nature and posture of the wolverine (Latin name: Gulo gulo) is built for winter survival. Its paws can navigate easily on snow. Its skull, teeth and jaw muscles can feed on frozen meat and bones.
With 125 years of experience, the Wolverine brand was founded in the United States in the city of Rockford, Michigan. It has been an American icon since its production of the original boots which paved way for railroads, skyscrapers and highways across the country.

I have been a loyal customer for many years. I have purchased over a dozen pair of 01518 work boots, many pairs of socks and now work jeans. The last time I tried yo buy new boots I found my favorite 01518 work boot have been discontinued. I was disappointed to find no unlined work boots. I have nearly worn out my last pair of boots, and now have to find another brand. The last pair of jeans I got ripped in the seam below the zipper due to an improperly overlapped seam. I live within twenty miles of your factory and outlet store in Rockford,MI and enjoyed the short trip north to purchase products made so close to my home. I do not like the thought of changing brands but feel I have no choice. I have enjoyed many good Wolverine products in the past.
Thank you
