The Carhartt brand is well known for its work clothes and utilitarian garments throughout the world. Founded in 1889 by Hamilton Carhartt, the Carhartt label has consistently provided Best-In-Class apparel, rugged & durable materials, superior quality standards and comfortable fabrics for the skilled trade active worker.
In 1994, Carhartt started to expand in Europe through a partnership with Work In Progress Textilhandels GmbH company. Since then, the collaboration has grown to capture the European market effectively through market penetration and influence in the youth (teens to mid 20s) streetwear scene. Today, the company has supported upcoming artists, musicians, skateboarders and BMX riders across the regions. In fact, Carhartt Streetwear has its own skate and BMX teams participating in international events such as the Rebel Jam and the European Skateboard Championships.
