Fox Head or Fox Racing has been synonymous to motocross apparel throughout the years. In fact, the Fox brand is the most recognized and best selling brand of motocross apparel in the world today.
In 1974, Geoff Fox founded Fox Racing as a small business, called Moto-X Fox, distributing European motocross parts and accessories in Campbell, California, USA. Determined to outmatch his competitors with his products, Geoff Fox created his own privately owned professional motocross team in 1977 named Team Moto-X Fox. In the highly-competitive AMA 125cc National Championship series, his Team Moto-X Fox riders performed so well that they turned out to be the top non-factory riders in the event. The bright red, yellow and orange race outfits of Team Moto-X Fox became so popular that the public flooded their store with tons of requests for the unique apparel.
Today, the Fox Head company is still a family owned business. The brand has expanded their menswear apparel line for BMX, bike, wakeboarding, surfing and mountain biking. Furthermore, their fashion line now includes womenswear, youth lifestyle clothing, outerwear, shirts, denim jeans, casual wear, eyewear, footwear and gear.
