“A great family makes a great company, a great company makes a great family.” - Gildo Zegna
“Style and innovation for a strong, distinctive identity.”
There are two key factors that effectively describe the Ermenegildo Zegna brand: family tradition and superior men’s luxury clothing.
Dating back from the 19th century, Angelo Zegna, a watchmaker, opened the Zegna wool mill (Lanificio Zegna) in Trivero, a municipality in the Province of Biella in the Italian region Piedmont. His youngest son, Ermenegildo, took over the business, established it and expanded the company into a global enterprise and the most dynamic family businesses in Italy. Ermenegildo passed on the company to his sons Aldo and Angelo. Since then, the family continued to grant its following generations as future leaders of their brand and organization.
Aside from being well known and respected in the quality of fabrics especially its wool, cashmere, mohair and silk materials, the Zegna brand carries suits, neckties, fragrances, eyewear, knitwear, shirts, sportswear, accessories, designer denim jeans and beachwear. The Zegna group operates several brands such as Ermenegildo Zegna, Couture, Zegna Sport, Z Zegna and Underwear.
Notable designer denim jeans selections from their collections, boutiques and department stores are:
