In his early 20s, Christopher Wicks was already designing men’s formal shirts for one of England’s largest gentlemen’s shirt manufacturers. Later on, he pursued his career on sportswear brands such as LA Gear, Ocean Pacific and Hang Ten.
English Laundry was founded under his company banner Defiance USA. Aside from English Laundry, he designs other clothing lines such as Fender, Jimi Hendrix “The Experience”: A Clothing Collection and DaVinci Shirts. English Laundry’s style is rooted from Wick’s Manchester England upbringing. The traditional floral heraldic emblem of England called English Rose (also Tudor Rose or Union Rose) is proof of his trademark style. Among other influences are Mods, Rockers and Soccer. English Laundry now carries a wide range of clothing apparel including designer denim jeans, leather goods, ties, scarves, suits, luxury watches, outerwear and fragrances. Together with A.J. Johnson of Global Rebels Inc, English Laundry is now available as an online retail shop catering to fashion and music enthusiasts worldwide.
The Men’s denim jeans collection offers:
English Laundry Red Selvege Jeans: Skinny fit, straight leg, detailed back pockets with unique design, available in dark wash and rinse wash.
English Laundry Crest Jeans: Classic style, skinny fit, straight leg, available in black wash and vintage wash.
