Old Navy Jeanswear

Bar Brasserie Jour et Nuit. Strolling with your jeans on along Boulevard Saint-Germain in Paris, France, you’ll chance upon its namesake.

In 1994, when Don Fisher, founder of Gap, and their CEO were visiting Paris, France, they chanced upon a bar brewery named Old Navy. The name immediately caught their attention. This further initiated the establishment of their first Old Navy store in Colma, California.

Old Navy is known as the affordable low priced brand segment of Gap Inc. Their exaggerated sentimentality and melodramatic 1940-60′s retro advertising campaigns placed them on the fashion map. Today, the brand has stores outside of the United States and also expanded its retail presence in Canada.

  1. I am an Indian citizen residing in India. On my visit to USA in 2007 I had bought a pair of cargo jeans by the following description on the tag:
“Old NavyBrand, CARGOS, ON.C, 31×30. The cargos are tagged as LABEL.
I have been using these cargos in casual wear and mainly during travel and find the 6 pockets very convenient to keep odd things.
The cargos are extremely comfortable. My solgan for your cargos ” The older they get the better they are”
I have been looking to get a couple of more cargos but they do not seem to be available anywhere in India.
Could you kindly inform how should I buy these cargos online.
    Quality: V Good
    Style: V Good
    Comfort: Extremely comfortable.
    Influence: Just happened to buy.

  2. The cargos you bought in 2007 may not be available anymore since it is outdated. Old navy may have newer styles which you may like. Also, according to their website, Old Navy ships internationally now. http://oldnavy.gap.com
