In 1926, J.M. Haggar Sr. (Hay-Grr) founded Haggar Clothing Co. in Dallas, Texas. His goal was to provide the working man with quality contemporary apparel. Haggar was the first to advertise slacks on television in the 1950s. In 1992, Haggar invented the famous Haggar Wrinkle Free Cotton Khaki pants. Today, the Haggar brand is known for its mens modern casual collections.
