It celebrates island living and relaxation. In 1992, Tony Margolis, Bob Emfield and Lucio Dalla Gasperina conceived the fictional character Tommy Bahama to reflect the fusion of tropical adventures and fine casual living. The company is owned by Oxford Industries in Atlanta, Georgia.
