Urban nomad. Age of modern Aquarius. New England chic. Chunky techie. Layered stripes. These various looks pretty much describe United Colors of Benetton’s Fall Winter 2008-2009 collections.

The urban nomad features patchwork wool hat with eco fur lining, Jamaican style striped knit beanie, Mouline wool scarf with fringes, Boucle wool sweater, corduroy pants and colorful knit sweaters. The age of modern Aquarius look is easy. Just wear floral patterned dresses, patterned leggings, solid color turtlenecks, striped headbands and vintage leather decollete shoes. The New England chic look is all about flat front wool trousers, wool duffle coat, wool vest, wool 3 button high lapel suits, black undershirt, knitted wool jacket in 3/4 or kimono sleeves, and black fedoras. On the other hand, the chunky techie just needs thick knit head gear with visor, turtleneck knit sweater, quilted nylon down filled jacket with hood, quilted down metallic vest, plaid under vest and wrinkled striped scarf. Layered stripes look show striped scarves, striped v-neck knit sweater, denim trousers, winter parka in faux fur collar with hood and long sleeved plaid shirt.

The United Colors of Benetton denim collections are few but definitely complementary to the fall-winter outfits. Womenswear have slim fit denim trousers with stirrups and skinny jeans in dark denim. For menswear, there are the Benetton Moda 2 Collection jeans, the stone washed jeans in boot cut fit, denim slim fit jeans in medium pale indigo dye, denim plated trousers and slim fit jeans in contrast stitching with dark indigo dye.

Today, The United Colors of Benetton brand, together with Sisley, Playlife and Killer Loop, all under the Benetton Group, have expanded to 120 countries around the world.
